Ali Roustaei

Ali Roustaei is a scenic and production designer based in Southern California. Originally from Tehran, Iran, he began his artistic journey with a focus on acting and directing. After moving to the United States in 2015, he developed a strong interest in theatrical and film design while taking classes at Los Angeles Pierce College. He later transferred to UC Irvine, where he earned a BA in Drama (with honors in Design and Technology) and a second BA in Film and Media Studies. Ali continued his education at San Diego State University, earning an MFA in Scenic Design.
