Danielle Dulchinos

Danielle Dulchinos is a costume artisan with a passion for historic and historically-inspired work. She has a dual bachelor’s degree in television & film communications and theater studies from Elon University and recently received her MFA in costume production from Carnegie Mellon University; she has experience in draping and patternmaking, couture sewing, millinery, tailoring (including period tailoring), and stretchwear. As a costume maker for both film and live entertainment, Danielle’s work is often informed by historic techniques. She is the recipient of the Oren and Teschie Parker Award for Excellence in Production Technology and the Lee Miller Award from the West Coast Drama Alumni Community; additionally, her thesis project has been chosen as a finalist in the UK Costume Society’s Patterns of Fashion Award.
