Ellie Hagan

My name is Ellie Hagan, and I am a recent graduate of Chapman University's MFA in Production Design program.

Entering college, I was torn between pursuing a degree in engineering or art. After graduating with my BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisville in 2022, I decided to pursue a path that involved both. I soon moved to Atlanta, Georgia where I participated in the Tom Key Arts Leadership Apprentice Program at Theatrical Outfit and continued to work as a scenic painter, designer and stage manager at Dad’s Garage, Theatrical Outfit and Aurora Theater before moving to California and joining the MFA program.
