Emma McManus is a lighting designer based in New York City and Los Angeles, whose work spans theater, dance, concerts, and live events. Originally from Queens, NY, She is completing her MFA in Lighting Design at CalArts (May 2026), with recent credits including The Misanthrope, The Master and Margarita, and Half-God of Rainfall. Emma has also worked as a show lighting designer with Disney Imagineering and received ETC’s Fred Foster Mentee Award. Her concert work includes collaborations at iconic Hollywood venues like the Troubadour, the Roxy, and the El Rey, where she creates immersive environments that translate sound into dynamic visual experiences.
