Yi Lin Zhao, a Chinese artist born and raised in China during the 2000s and early 2010s, who defied her traditional parents and underwent fine art training as a young child. She discovered solace in American and German musicals and stage dramas, shaping her artistic expression. Zhao found a new home at UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, where she pursued a BA in theater and an MFA in scenic and production design. Today, she thrives as an artist, incorporating her diverse cultural background and extensive training tell impactful stories on stage and film.
