Inès Guelfucci

Inès Guelfucci is a french director and production designer, graduated from the Haute École des Arts du Rhin (HEAR) with a Master’s degree in Arts and Scenography in 2020, before joining Production design department at La Fémis, where she graduated in 2024.

At the intersection of theater and cinema, she explores storytelling through space, creating hybrid settings where scenography actively contributes to the narrative. Her approach is rooted in resilience, examining how environments reflect the inner journeys of characters. She designs spaces where the visible and invisible intertwine.

Her work focuses on the body, rhythm, movement, and materiality in relation to space, where every element of the set becomes a vehicle for meaning. Through a staging approach that questions the symbolism of places, she transforms scenography into a full-fledged character, infusing her creations with a rich visual and sensory dimension.
