Lia Wallfish

Lia Wallfish (She/Her/Hers) is a Chicago-based costume designer and visual artist. Lia has worked professionally in costume design and costume departments in various fields, including theater, opera, dance, television, and film. She contributed to notable productions, including La Traviata at The Metropolitan Opera, American Horror Story, and Macbeth at The Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Lia holds a BA in Theater from UCLA and an MFA in theater from Northwestern University; she is a recipient of The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship (2018), The Willa Kim Costume Design Scholarship (2023), and The Michael Merritt Academic Achievement Award for Collaboration (2024).
