Mariko L. Cilley

Mariko is a scenic designer and artist, holding an MFA in Scenic Design from the University of California, Irvine with a background in studio and performance art. Drawing on her interest in painting, sculpture, textiles, and materials, she approaches scenic design through a tactile lens, creating environments that emphasize texture, material, and detail. Her credits include Starmites and Little Women: The Musical, with additional experience assisting at A Noise Within. She is interested in expanding her practice into immersive and experiential design and production design, creating expressive, richly imagined worlds for audiences.
