Mathys Herbert is originally from Dayton Ohio, holding a BFA in Acting from Wright State University and an MFA in Scenic Design from San Diego State University. Mathys is currently based out of San Diego designing for several companies in the area including Cygnet Theatre and San Diego Musical Theatre.
