Nathan Evans

Nathan Evans is an emerging production designer from Sydney, Australia, drawing from 20 years of experience as a multidisciplinary designer and producer, encompassing advertising, architecture, interiors, and exhibition and event design. Academically, he has undertaken a Master of Film and Digital Image (Sydney College of the Arts), a Bachelor of Design and Technology (Western Sydney University), and a Bachelor of Design in Architecture (University of Sydney).

 

Nathan is known for art directing the SBS TV series Meet the Changs (2022) and the follow-up TV series for SBS as a production designer for Meet Leila and Ziad (2023). From 2023 to 2024, he refined his producing skills in the World Building pre-development of a historical drama television series, www.sevenvalleys.tv, whilst undertaking a Master of Arts Screen in Production Design at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.  He concurrently continues working as a graphic designer for Mint Pictures.

 

As a result of his recent studies at AFTRS one of the films he designed, Interview with a Hero (2025) is a finalist for the Dendy Award for Best Live Action Australian Short at the prestigious Sydney Film Festival.
