Violet Clemons

Violet Clemons is a costume designer from Chicago, Illinois. She earned her MFA from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a BS in Costume Design with a minor in Vocal Performance from Ball State University. Fascinated by how clothing serves as a cultural archive, Violet uses design to uncover and express untold stories. Her recent credits include Cabaret; A Beautiful Day in November (UT Austin); The Ohio, Texas Remix, a short film by Ya’Ke Smith; and Bread N Butta, a short film by Benji Unanaow.
