Zixin Ye

Zixin Ye(Leaf) is a costume designer whose passion for storytelling began with the books she devoured as a child and evolved into shaping characters through fabric and design. With an interdisciplinary background, she approaches costume as a language for expressing story and identity, balancing craftsmanship with conceptual vision. Her work spans theater, film, and TVC, earning international recognition through major exhibitions such as World Stage Design 2022, 2025  and etc, as well as screenings at A-list international film festivals. Raised in China and educated at the University of California, Santa Barbara, she brings a cross-cultural perspective to her practice and will receive her MFA from Carnegie Mellon University in 2026.
